Ezechiël (Eduard) Jacobs (Amsterdam, 2 april 1868 - aldaar, 6 december 1914) wordt beschouwd als Nederlands eerste cabaretier.

Eduard was my paternal grandmother's paternal uncle. His brother , Jacques, played at a celebrated London steak house, The Trocadero circa 1896. Eduard, the older brother, brought cabaret to Holland and played the Moulin Rouge. Eduard died circa 1914 in Indonesia. He had been travelling to a gruelling schedule and was exhausted.
