Maar ik zal nooit te weten komen of ik gelijk heb of niet

Ik ben moe van het spelletjes spelen,
van het zoeken om iemand anders de schuld te geven
Voor alle gaten in antwoorden die duidelijk te zien zijn
Voor iets om de ruimte te vullen,
was al de tijd die ik erin stak een verspilling
Omdat zoveel keuzes dezelfde kant op lijken te gaan
als ik ging

Dus waarom zou er maar 1 goede filosofie zijn?
Ik wil niet gaan en jouw volgen
om te eindigen als een van hen
En waarom vertel je me altijd
wat je me wilt laten geloven?
Ik zou graag denken dat ik mijn eigen weg kan gaan
en jou ontmoet op het einde.

Maar ik zal het nooit te weten komen...
