About this Album:
Seether is a grungy/metal band. This album is not there best. But they do have great songs on it like "Remedy" and "Truth." However if you want the best the Seether "experience" I prefer "Disclaimer II" This album has all the awesome "Disclaimer" tracks including "Gasoline" and "Fuck It" and "Broken" and nine new tracks and "Broken" with Amy Lee. Overall Seether is an amazing band.

Following the rock onslaught that Disclaimer II brought to my life I sputtered a bit trying to let this album grow on me--but it did! I rotated song four (The Gift) about 2000 times and let the new songs spin from there and I have rediscovered my love for this band. I've heard claims made that Seether is trying to plagerize AIC and Nirvana, but these folks aren't listening closely enough. This is a very original, extremely versatile and talented rock band that has more musical vision and direction than many think at first listen. If you appreciate variety in albums (you know, not the same song over and over...), Seether will have you in happyville with a power-rock ballad here and a dirty, straight ahead grind session there. Be sure and stop at the full bodied chorus explosion, then strip it down and let the phenomenal acoustic genious speak of truth and confession that will surely touch the music lover at his core. If you haven't heard this band or their material outside of radio-land, for what it's worth, I highly recommend them!
