Peter Tetteroo

Peter Tetteroo is a Dutch journalist, filmmaker also the Lead singer of the Dutch pop group (in the mid 1960s to mid 1980s) "Tee set." From Delft Netherlands, they had One American top 10 hit in 1970 of "Ma Belle Amie." Reaching number 5 on the bilboard charts. Many European hits, including a number 1 song of "She Likes Weeds" charting in several European countries, but the song was banned in the US due to its drug insinuation. (Of which it was not) It was in reference to a Michael Caine movie talking about a guys wifes gardening skills... "she likes weeds they're easy to grow".

Peter later in life owned and operated the "Ma Belle Amie" roller disco rink. Ma Belle Amie translated from French to: My Beautiful Friend. He also, in his last year of life, was a councilor for a local political party. The position was later taken over by his long time friend Polle Eduard after Peter's death.

Born Anthonius Gerardus Petrus Tetteroo (Peter) on July 8, 1947, he and passed Sept 9, 2002 of liver cancer. He was cremated and his remains reside in the Jaffa Cemetery in Delft, Netherlands.
