Yes, I know. :)

Actually, I try to sing along for my pronunciation check. The learning I do is with the "Dutch for Dummies" and the "Dutch. An Essential Grammar. 9th ed.". :) So far my problem is the Dutch diphthongs and double vowels, - I tend to spell these as if in English/Duits/Svenska, whichever looks familiar. The lyrics help to fix it.

Hi Anthony there are worse ways to learn Dutch :) I've added Walsmedly & Bergje op bergje af Enjoy them!

(as for the R's & G's that's a local dialect thing I think)

Question from a Dutch learner:

Alpenzusjes are consistent in their pronunciation of the "G"'s in all their songs. With the "R"'s it is not so, in this particular song they do it "properly", like I used to hear in the "Vrouw" word, while in many other songs Zusjes do it "less rolling". Is that critical for me to being understood?
