At age 19 he had his first release on the renowned Belgian dance label "TARGET RECORDS" where many Belgium artists have put their first steps, including The Natural Born DJs.
This was only a prelude, in 1997 he had his first hit with the project "DJ Bart - Want to Play House" along with fellow producer Tony Varone (who now does occasional productions for Bob Sinclar)
This track dominated the ultratop 20, sold 18,000 copies and has taken numerous compilations achieved both at home and abroad.
