Bread And Juice
Bread & Juice is a combination of students from many different walks of life and various states across the nation who have come together to celebrate the victory they have in Christ Jesus through praise and worship music. It is the music ministry of Downtown Community Fellowship in Clemson, South Carolina.
Bread & Juice began as Jeremiah Jones of North Myrtle Beach and Austin Bond of Conway joined together to lead worship at Downtown Community Fellowship in the spring of '96. As the church began to grow, more and more students offered their musical talents to the ever expanding worship team. In August of '96, Brooks Hanes of Iowa joined DCF staff as music coordinator and also contributed his skills on the violin and drums to the band. With Hanes' help and organization, the band continued to grow even more. As summer approached and the school year was coming to a close, Bread & Juice decided to record a worship CD containing songs originally written by various band members to encourage many students in their walk with God as they returned home for the summer break.
Since then, the band has recored a second CD and toured all around the southeast. Each year the sound and stylings of Bread & Juice changes as new students of Clemson University and members of DCF join the band.
