Aimless

Sixteen year-old Joy Johnson began Aimless in July 2013. The spunky lead singer has had a musical past, playing piano since the age of four and guitar since the age of twelve. After the release of Bay, she began writing her debut album.

"Bay was released in December," Johnson says. "Immediately after that, I began working on the new album. I knew that the writing process would take a while for me. I wanted to put out something that people could relate to, and also something that you could jam out to in the car with your friends, you know? I wanted something that reminded me of my past and all of the simple things that made me happy, but also has an edginess in that it deals with current problems. I can't say when it will all be released, but believe me, you guys will be the first to know.”
