Adema, Speculum. Tabbed by Eric LaRoche, ZeroContent@siliconfreaks.com. Here is Speculum by Adema. Yeah yeah, i know the CD isn't out yet but ya know the advanced copies rule. This is a sweet CD and a sweet song. There are many parts to this song and both guitar parts are there. All parts are writen at the bottom in which order to play them and are grouped to show if there are two guitars. Tuning is 1/2 step down and drop D. Intro: Eb------------------------ ------------------------------ Bb------------------------ ------------------------------ Gb------------------------ ------------------------------ Db------------------------ OR------------------------------ Ab-------4/5/4------------ -------4^4-------------------- Db------------------------ ------------------------------ Play whichever you feel is better, I say use the bend but make sure you only bend to what the first one would sound like. C to C#. Verse P1 Eb------------------------------------------------------ Bb------------------------------------------------------ Gb------------------------------------------------------ Db----4-------4----------------------------------------- Ab--5-----------5----2--4--5--4------------------------- Db------------------------------------------------------ I didn't notice the last four notes until i started tabbing this song so you might miss them too, just listen they're there. Verse P2 Eb------------------------------------------------------ Bb------------------------------------------------------ Gb------------------------------------------------------ Db----4-----4---4--------------------------------------- Ab--5-----5-------5--2--4--5--4------------------------- Db------------------------------------------------------ 1st Bridge Eb----------------------------9------------------------- Bb------------------------------------------------------ Gb------------------------*7---------------------------- Db----4--------4---------------------------------------- Ab--5------------5--2--4-------------------------------- Db------------------------------------------------------ I couldn't find the harmonic for the 9 on the Eb, i'm not sure if there is one that is easily played, i check them all on 5, 7, and 12. besides those the rest of the harmonics on the fret board are hard to play. Chorus: Eb------------------------------------------------------ Bb------------------------------------------------------ Gb------------------------------------------------------ Db--9------------5---------------0---------------4------ Ab--9------------5---------------0---------------4------ Db--9------------5---------------0---------------4------ SG 1: Chorus/Verse some times Eb-------10--9--14----------10--9------ Bb-------------------------------12---- Gb------------------------------------- Db------------------------------------- Ab------------------------------------- Db------------------------------------- SG 2 Bridge Eb---10---------10-------- Bb-------8--8-------7--7-- Gb------------------------ Db------------------------ Ab------------------------ Db------------------------ Solo: Eb------------------------------------------------------ Bb------------------------------------------------------ Gb------------------------------------------------------ Db--------------------------4--4--5--4------------------ Ab---2--2--4--5--5----5--4--------------4--------------- Db------------------------------------------------------ Not much of a solo but ya know. Outro: Eb---------- Bb---------- Gb---------- Db---9------ Ab---9------ Db---9------ Ok here you go. In order of how these pieces are play. if there is two guitars i'll group them. If you look the bridge right before the Solo seems to have 3 guitars. if you were playing live i guess you could use a digital delay and save the solo from the first time to play it. :-) Intro 4x Verse P1 2x Verse P2 1x 1st Bridge 1x Chorus 2x SG Chorus 2x (Second Guitar Chorus) Verse P1 2x - | Verse P2 1x |-- SG Chorus is scattered during this verse. | Listen and find it if you want to.
