Adema
Adema is a rock band from Bakersfield, California consisting of vocalist/guitarist Tim Fluckey, bassist Dave DeRoo, and drummer Kris Kohls. The band was formed in 1998 by vocalist Mark Chavez and guitarist Mike Ransom. After their first two albums, Adema (2001) and Unstable (2003), Ransom left the band in 2003 followed by Chavez later in 2004 due to conflicts between themselves and other members of the band. Luke Caraccioli replaced Chavez in early 2005 for one album, Planets, but then left a few months later in late 2005. In 2006, Adema announced that vocalist Bobby Reeves and guitarist Ed Faris, both from the band LEVEL, had joined the band, but only released one album, Kill the Headlights in 2007. The band went on a one-year hiatus in 2008. In 2009, the original line-up was reunited with Bobby Reeves and Ed Faris agreeing to leave the band. However, Ransom showed extreme minimal participation in the reunion and left once again in early 2010, followed soon by Chavez once again early in January 2011. Right after Chavez's second departure, guitarist Tim Fluckey took over lead vocals and Marc DeLeon soon replaced Ransom and later became a touring guitarist before they released their EP album, Topple the Giants in 2013.
