Wilco
Wilco - Sunken Treasure (live With Harmonica) gitaar tab
Je score:
Wilco - Sunken Treasure (live) This is the way Wilco has been playing Sunken Treasure at their live shows for a while now and also the way jeff plays it during his solo gigs. it's a lot different (and better) than the being there version and i've seen a lot of tabs for it that are all wrong. hopefully everyone will see that this is the way its played... simple. Dropped D Tuning with capo on the Second Fret - Key of E major (For standard tuning just capo the top 5 strings and let your low E ring open) Verse Riff: E--------------|----------------| B------3-----3-|--------3-----3-| G--------2-----|------0---2-----| D----0-----0---|------------0---| A--0-----------|--0^2-----------| D--0-----------|----------------| there's rows and rows of houses with the windows painted blue with the light from a tv running parallel to you but there is no sunken treasure rumored to be wrapped inside my ribs in a sea black with ink Chorus: I am so.. I am so.. Out of tune E----------|----------|----------| | B------3---|-----3----|----------| | G------2---|-----2----|----------|VERSE RIFF| D------0---|-----2----|----------| | A------2---|-----0----|----------| | D----------|----------|----------| | I am so.. Out of tune.. With you E----------|----------|----------| | B------3---|-----3----|----------| | G------2---|-----2----|----------|VERSE RIFF| D------0---|-----2----|----------| | A------2---|-----0----|----------| | D----------|----------|----------| | if i had a mountain i'd try to fold it over if i had a boat you know i'd probably roll over and i'd leave it on the shore leave it for somebody surely there's somebody who needs it more than me CHORUS for all the leaves we burn in autumn fires and then return for all the fires we burn all will return music is my savior but i was maimed by rock and roll i was maimed by rock and roll i was tamed by rock and roll i got my name from rock and roll (note: i heard a cool version where jeff says "i'm not ashamed of rock and roll") Intro Harmonica riff - Key of E diatonic harp It's a little difficult to tab out harp stuff, but you just need to play this really loosely. I have no idea how to signify timing, but i put slides between some notes. just breathe right through these ones without stopping. If you can play harp at all, you'll probably know how to make the right sound. He plays it a little different each time, but the main intro riff is pretty much like this. listen to the song to get the real rhythm and the way he warbles the notes Neil Young style at times.
