A Fireside Chat with folks that I adore,
If I could have that,
I d ask for nothing more.
When nights are cold,
I m dreaming of,
A home that is warm with love.
To hang up my hat,
And know that I can share,
A Fireside Chat,
With lovely people there,
Would give my heart a happy glow,
With each little friendly 'hello'.
I had an hour here to relax in,
With dreams weaving a spell.
While mom brings little snacks in,
Like the cakes that she backes so well.
Those evenings are bliss,
