I'm out doin' the usual places, 
And I'm livin' it, like young! 
Then I find me this face of all faces, 
She's the craziest, like young! 

She drinks coffee, coffee espresso, 
She reads Kerouac, like young! 
She sits there and the angry men listen, 
Recites poetry, like Young! 

I say ‘hi’ and she says ‘hi’
And I say ‘let’s leave the joint’
And she says ‘okay, let’s leave the joint’
So what do we do?
We leave the joint
 
We start leavin' the joint about eleven 
And we're homin' it, like now! 
We spin records on cloud number seven, 
And she's kissing me, like wow! 

I’m all unstrung, 
'Cause when she's got me feelin' like young! 
If she were to leave me and go, 
I’m  startin' to wear in my hair again, 
Like a square again! ) 

I start a getting' the funniest notion. 
I think maybe it's like love! 
I start feelin' a crazy emotion, 
I think baby, I’m in love! 

We start ridin'  the rain straight to heaven, 
And we're makin' it like young!
