The Hunt is an extremely difficult song to play. Not only due to its speed
but also because of the coordination factor. This song has three distinct sections
to it. The first is a flat-out combination of strumming and scale-type runs, the
second is a slow melodic chord progression leading into the third section which
consists of the plectrum playing an alternating bass while the fingers pluck out
the tune in the higher register. All thrown together, this is one of the hardest
acoustic pieces I have ever attempted of Tommy's, and requires literally months
of painstaking practice. I can't say I've mastered it yet, but here is what I've
figured out of The Hunt....

You will need to Tune your lower E string down to a D. And for those who have been
playing without a pick, you'll need to grab one if you're going to play this properly.

In the key of D.

I have printed the strumming pattern below the timing bars. The chord continues with
the strumming pattern. Just saves me printing it out for each strum!

The recording on The Journey Continues album was done in two parts, however this version
is a solo piece. All I can say for this song is practice, practice, practice!
