Here's Plume this is from memory right now since I don't have my guitar with
me.. I haven't figured out the entire solo yet but will post the whole thing
when I do.. I think the little bridge after the chorus might be wrong too..
I'm
trying to play it in my head.. I'll see if I can figure out the solo in a
couple days then I'll re-post it.

Plume - Smashing Pumpkins

The way this works:
I'll give Parts A-whatever, and I'll put a legend at the end that tells
what order to play each part in. *My legend:
Ex:                                   / - Slide up    P - Pull off
[Part A] - 4 times                    \ - Slide down  H - Hammer on
[Part B] - 3 times                    ^(n) - Bend up n steps.
[Part A] - 4 times                    n_|_(n) - Tie through to next bar
etc...

Here's my shot at Plume. So far I've seen two attempts at it, and one's
been halfway decent. The one on ftp.nevada.edu (IMHO) isn't that good.
You'll note the difference that the main riff only shifts on two of the
notes, not the whole chord (as found on ftp.nevada.edu).

[Part A] - Main riff Always starts RIGHT on the beat (beat 4 that is) and isn't
	   straight when played, a little hang if you will.
No dropped D tuning.
     * beat four * beat one (rest one beat, 3rd beat)
||---------------------|--------------|| - Can be played differently
||---------------------|--------------|| - First half can be played
||---4-H-5-P-4-H-5-P-4-|--------------||    10 10 10 10 10 5 5 5 5
||---3-H-5-P-3-H-5-P-3-|--5---5--5-5--||     7  8  7  8  7 3 3 3 3
||---3-(hold this note)|--5---5--5-5--|| (which is what i think ftp wants
||---------------------|--3---3--3-3--||      to be)
     ^
     ^ this is the only time to strike in the riff ('cept for the G chord)

Of course, you can tell how many times to play through the verse and stuff.
There is also the little break (easy to figure when). Don't forget to cut off
the riff when you go into the break:

[Part B] (beat 4) (full measure) (beat o
||---------------------|------------------------------|-------------||
||---------------------|------------------------------|-------------||
||---4-H-5-P-4-H-5-P-4-|------------------------------|-------------||
||---3-H-5-P-3-H-5-P-3-|--2--2-2--3---3-/-10-10-10-10-|--5---5--5-5-||
||---3-(hold)----------|--2--2-2--3---3-/-10-10-10-10-|--5---5--5-5-||
||---------------------|--0--0-0--1---1-/-8--8--8--8--|--3---3--3-3-||
[Back to Part A]

That was the first break in the middle of the verse, here's the lead into the
chorus:

[Part C]
  (4th beat) (full measure) (2 beat measure)
||--------------------|-------------------|-------------||
||--------------------|-------------------|-------------||
||--4-H-5-P-4-H-5-P-4-|-------------------|-------------||
||--3-H-5-P-3-H-5-P-3-|--2--2-2--3-(ring)-|--3-(ring)---||
||--3-(hold)----------|--2--2-2--3-(ring)-|--3-(ring)---||
||--------------------|--0--0-0--1-(ring) |--1-(ring)---||

Chorus (My boredom has outshined the sun...)
[Part D]
(4 times then next line)
||---3----3---0--0---0--|--0---0--0-0-(ring)--||  Basic Pattern:
||---0----0---0--0---0--|--1---1--1-1-(ring)--||  G(5) -> E(m) -> C(5)
||---0----0--(0)(0)-(0)-|--0---0--0-0-(ring)--||  (either major or 5th,
||---0----0---2--2---2--|--2---2--2-2-(ring)--|| depends on my mood, and
||---2----2---2--2---2--|--3---3--3-3-(ring)--|| again, minor or 5th on
||---3----3---0--0---0--|---------------------||   the E)

||---------------------------||
||---------------------------||
||---------------------------||
||--7--7-7--7-/-10-10-(ring)-||
||--7--7-7--7-/-10-10-(ring)-||
||--5--5-5--5-/--8--8-(ring)-||

---post chorus solo---
Basically lots of runs and purls and bends on the Eminor/Gmajor scale.
BC uses lots of phaser or flanger (probably that Bi-Mutron Phase thingy) on
it, so, have fun with it. I do!

||---------------------------------------10^(1)-12---||
||---10--12--10-12---10---12--10-12-P-10-------------||
||---------------------------------------------------||
||---------------------------------------------------||
||---------------------------------------------------||
||---------------------------------------------------||
This is just the start. Play with it. Improv. from this or from the start.
Hell, be original. (= I haven't figured out the solo yet.;)

Post chorus rythym Here I think the two guitars split
[Part E] on the G chord. One goes high, the other
 				    low...(for a wide range of tone)
||---------------------------------------------------------------------||
||---------------------------------------------------------------------||
||----------------------------------------12_|_(12)--12--12-12-(ring)--||
||----------------------------------------12_|_(12)--12--12-12-(ring)--||
||---12--14--12-14---12---14---12-14-\-12-10_|_(10)--10--10-10-(ring)--||
||---10--12--10-12---10---12---10-12-\-10------------------------------||

This is played twice and then the rest of the post-chorus solo is the
chorus guitar.

The rest is just another verse (well, kinda). After the chorus part on the
solo, there's a slight break, then the solo ends accompanied by the
verse line, and then another verse.
Then, another chorus. Then, another solo.
It's one giant pattern played twice.

Here's the map:

[Part A] - 7 times (Singing starts 5th time)
[Part B] - 1 time ("what a waste...")
[Part A] - 3 times
[Part C] - 1 time (Right before chorus)
[Part D] - 1 time (note: Part D has repeats in it)
---post-chorus solo---
[Part E] - 2 times
[Part D] - 1 time (note: Pard D has repeats in it)
---break---
[Part A] - 7 times (second verse starts 5th time)
[Part B] - 1 time ("God oh please...")
[Part A] - 3 times
[Part C] - 1 time
[Part D] - 1 time (again, the repeats are in there)
---post-chorus2 solo---
[Part E] - 2 times
[Part D] - 1 time (Slide down the fretboard at the end, ps - repeats ;) )

End.
