Sometimes, 

My girl's got green eyes, 

And sometimes, 

Her eyes are blue, 

And sometimes, 

In her in-between eyes, 

There's a tiny teardrop makin' them change their hue. 


Sometimes, 

Those grassy green eyes, 

Look up and turn sky blue, 

So when my, 

My girl gets blue eyes, 

I would do anything any normal superhero would do. 


I would outwit the Joker, 

Put the Penguin on ice, 

And with a simple turn of phrase, 

I'd make the Riddler think twice, 

I'd wear my underwear, 

Over my stupid lycra tights, 

If I thought that she might get to sleep at nights. 


But sometimes, 

Those lovely green eyes, 

Can't disguise that they're blue, 

So when my, 

My girl gets blue eyes, 

I would do anything any normal superhero would do.
