The Hombres
The Hombres - Let It Out gitaar chord
Je score:
The Hombres were from the Memphis area (Bill Cunningham's brother was in the Box Tops), but it was Texas/Louisiana legend Huey P. Meaux who produced this weird cross between 'Gloria' and 'Subterranean Homesick Blues' which made it to #12 in November, 1967. The spoken intro, BTW, is taken from the 1949 novelty record 'Cigareetes, Whuskey, and Wild, Wild Women' by Red Ingle and the Natural Seven. -- AWR "Let It Out (Let It All Hang Out)" (Bill Cunningham) Intro: (spoken): "A preachment, dear friends, you are about to receive on John Barleycorn, nicotine, and the temptations of Eve" (Bronx cheer) organ arr. for guitar: [xx6x8x] E D A [4X; continue through verses] / / / / Verse 1: No parkin' by the sewer sign Hot dog, my razor's broke Water drippin' up the spout But I don't care, let it all hang out Verse 2: Hangin' from a pine tree by my knees Sun is shinin' through the shade Nobody knows what it's all about, It's too much, man, let it all hang out Break: F#7 A E D A E D A [2X] [xx4320] [xx7650] / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / Verse 3: Saw a man walkin' upside down My T.V.'s on the blink Made Galileo look like a Boy Scout Sorry 'bout that, let it all hang out Verse 4: Sleep all day, drive all night Brain my numb, can't stop now For sure ain't no doubt Keep an open mind, let it all hang out [repeat break] Verse 5: It's rainin' inside a big brown moon How does that mess you baby up, leg Eatin' a Reuben sandwich with sauerkraut Don't stop now, baby, let it all hang out Coda: Let it all hang out (harmonized) [repeat to fade] -- another ace 60's tab from Andrew Rogers
