Patches was a leprechaun who never was content
He brought his negative attitude everywhere he went
He traveled on through day and knight to find his pot of gold
Life in the magical forest it was getting rather old
So he made a plan, he drew it up, and sought to do it right
"my fellow magic leprechauns, I'm leaving here tonight!"

Patches he was on the road when he stopped to get a snack
When he let his guard down he was suddenly attacked
It was a purple dragon, 10 feet tall staring down at him
The dragon opened up his mouth and he said his name was Jim
He spread his wings, took to the sky, and took Patches to his lair
Where mighty Jim's lair could be found, he could only wonder where
