After four times, go from the 10th fret to an open E chord
and let it ring baby!!

E

E G
You always told me that you'd
                       A
Understand if I ever found something else
                 E
That I wanted to do
E G
You always showed me right from wrong
                           A
You always let me sing my song
                        E
That's what I wanted to do

CHORUS:
E
Help me out (I'm just a little down and out)
G
Help me out (You gotta let me scream and shout)
A
Help me out
               E
C'mon help me out

2nd VERSE:

When I find myself alone
Living life without a home
That's where I wanted to be
If I need you in the end
Will you always be my friend
That's what I need you to be

CHORUS (repeat twice)
E
Help me out (I'm just a little down and out)
G
Help me out (You gotta let me scream and shout)
A
Help me out
               E
C'mon help me out

Help me out
I'm just a little down and out
Help me out
You gotta let me scream and shout
Help me out
C'mon help me out
C'mon help me out

Solo (over open chords)
If you know your scales, this one works around the
E minor pentatonic scale. It was hard to transcribe this
cause it was tough to hear what was going on AND also
cause I suck! Just fool with it to get the timing. Rob seemed
to use a lot of sliding and hammer-ons, so listen carefully.
