In my slumber
I have the clearest visions of a dimension.
So familiar, so loathsome,
Yet unknown to me.
Where no sun dwells,
And the moons are always full.
Solitary it is, and solitary I shall be.
For none have I encountered
That mirrored my being.
I have traveled centuries of time to be at one
With the dismal plains of the macrocosm.

That is where I belong,
Where my soul may rest.
I have lost all things, my body included.
What once was is now shattered to a
Thousand shards of frozen flesh.
Still I search,
Gaining only wisdom which strengthens me
On my journey
Through the uncompromising cosmos.
