Rich Mullins - That Where I Am There You gitaar chord
Je score:
"That Where I Am, There You.." Rich Mullins tabbed by Daniel Chilton "danielchilton@hotmail.com" Ok, this is a great song, reminds me of Hope to Carry On. This requires a fast strum, which means that a thin pick is ideal. I use the white Dunlop .46mm picks, and they're great for strumming fast. You'll have to listen to the CD to get the exact strum (really?) , but what he mostly does on the D's and A's is he'll strum down on the major strum and then lift the fingers on his left hand up slightly from the strings to where it sounds almost like mute. Then (On the "D" chord) he's also pulling off the finger from the high "e" string on the second fret (more than likely your middle finger) off and on some. When he goes to the "A" chord, he does the same thing. Thus we have "D" mixed with "Dsus2," or "D2" and "A" mixed with "Asus2," or "A2." That's enough quotations for now. However, when you get to the chorus you can do a regular strum with no sustained chords or anything And one more thing, whenever you play this song, you have to curse Michael W. Smith. INTRO-D and Dsus2 CAPO-4th Fret VERSE-1 D In my Father's house there are many, many rooms A D In my Father's house there are many, many rooms And I'm going up there now to prepare a place for you A D That where I am, there you may also be VERSE-2 D If I go prepare a place for you, I will come back again A D If I go prepare a place for you, I will come back again And you know I am the Way, the Truth, the Life, to light all men A D That where I am, there you may also be CHORUS (regular strumming now) G D That where I am, there you may also be A D Up where the truth, the truth will set you free In the world you will have trouble, but I leave you my peace A D That where I am, there you may also be VERSE-3 D Remember you did not choose me, no I have chosen you A D Remember you did not choose me, no I have chosen you The world will show you hatred, the Spirit show you truth A D That where I am, there you may also be VERSE-4 D And I've come down from the Father, it's time for me to go back up A Oh, I've come down from the Father, it's time for me to go back up One command I leave you: Love as I have loved A D That where I am, there you may also be REPEAT CHORUS x2 ----------- |-Chords--| |---------| |D--xx0232| |D2-xx0230| |A--002220| |A2-002200| |G--320033| -----------
