The monster


I wonder what you see
When you look at your face
I wonder how you feel
Putting people in their place

I wonder how you live
With your superior attitude
Looking down your nose at others
Getting high out of being rude

I wonder how many lives you changed
With your cold calculating ways
How many spirits you have broken
During all your miserable days

I wonder when you smile
If it's memories of who you've hurt
Your latest victim of abuse
You left lying in the dirt

I wonder if you smell
The hatred eating your insides
A cancer contained of money and greed
Is what happens when it all collides

You have the best of everything
You lead everyone to believe
But what's the final outcome
When it's your time to leave

I pray your dues are very high
For all you have destroyed
And that we are there to witness it
All of those you have employed
