Two little boys had two little blanks

each had a wooden blank.

Daily they blanked

each summers day.

Blankers both of course



One little chap then had a blank

blanked off his horse's blank.

Blanked for his toy

then blanked with joy

as his yound playmate said.



Did you think I would leave you blanking

when there's room on my horse for two.

Climb up here Joe we'll soon be blanking

I can blank just as fast with two.

When we grow up we'll both be blankers

and our  blanks will not be toys

And I wonder if we'll remember

When we were two little blanks



Long years past

War came so fast

Bravely they blanked away.

Battle roared loud

and in the mad crowd

Wounded and blanking lay.



Up goes a shout

a horse dashes out

out from the rank so blue

Blanked away to where Joe blanked

then came a voice he knew..



Did you think I would leave you blanking

when there's room on my horse for two

climb up here Joe we'll soon be blanking

back to the rank so blue.

Did you see you heard all the blanking

Perhaps it's the battle's blank

Or perhaps it's that I remember

When we were two little blanks
