A mesmorising song from the last studio album recorded by Cash, hurt is by far his most personal and reflective work. I found this most useful and have enjoyed learning to play it.Big up to franco

It sounds much better if you add a g note on your high e-string (3rd fret) during the chorus because it kind of fills in for the piano which is playing the g note.
Chorus chords with piano G note:
Am F C G(normal)
e--3--3--3--3
B--1--1--1--0
G--2--2--0--0
D--2--3--2--0
A--0-----3--2
E-----------3

on the second lick in the intro, the tab should be:
E---------0-------------0------------2----------------------------------
B---------1-------------1------------3----------------------------------
G---------2-------------0-------2----2-----------------------------
D----2----2-------2-----2-----0------0-----------------------------
A--0------0-----3-------3-------------------------------------------
E-----------------------------------------------------------------------

This is a great tab. Johnny was a great man and it was a big loss for everyone when he died. This is a beautiful song.
