Indigo Girls
Indigo Girls - Reunion gitaar tab
Je score:
# REUNION (Amy Ray) ----------------- [Amy plays C (x32010) rather than C(9); Emily plays C(9) as x32033. Also, Amy plays G as 320003, and Emily plays 320033.] [The "la la" part might be A A D E rather than A E D E; it's hard to tell. I usually play A E/A D E.] [The chords in the guitar solo are hard to figure out; the tablature is more important, anyway...] G D C(9) D Had guards like watchdogs, dogs in a manger G D C(9) D I could feel the protection, possession and anger G D C(9) D And I drove out of there with no one behind me G D C(9) D Feeling funny and free All you pretty pretenders, negligent vendors Aren't you precious inside I have no need of anger with intimate strangers And I got nothing to hide I laughed as I said it, this is my situation It's not pictures or privilege, it's just self-preservation I don't want you to feel any obligation It feels so funny to be free All you pretty pretenders, negligent vendors Aren't you precious inside I have no need of anger with intimate strangers And I got nothing to hide Am Am Am Am Am Am Am Am Am Am Am Am [Guitar solo; see tab at end. GUITAR SOLO ----------- I'm pretty sure about the _notes_ in the guitar solo, but I don't know exactly which fingerings Emily uses, and I'm even _less_ sure about which chords Amy plays behind this solo. I've included two versions of the solo; the first one is low on the neck, using a lot of open strings, and the second one is high up on the neck, using barres and stuff. Feel free to mix and match whichever is easier. (And if anyone sees this in concert, keep an eye on Emily's left hand and tell me how she plays it!)
