There comes a time
In ones life
When the wonders of the past
Are set aside
Like the man trying to find
Fulfillment of the highest kind
With a rattle the babe heldfast
That must now be left behind
This choice that must be made
Ignore it, or wish it away
Yet it eats at your soul
Day after day
The Knowledge can not be unknown
Will you stand or lie prone
Embrace your sense of growth
Or be brushed aside
In a flash the way is seen

The life you know shall be left behind

Once entered upon this great path
All ultimate fear is dissolved
In this ocean One finally has found
A piece of solid ground
The world still changes around you
But you are not of it
The mind still churns within you
Yet your are not your thoughts
All at once connected with all things
No longer a separate being
All actions joined to this root
Spreads across the world
At the feet of the new found master
Let him fight the coming battle for he is your guide
This is yourself in it's highest form
Allow the two to merge, if for just a time
Anointed one Give your all
For there is no time to waste
Avoiding the pits of mire
Of hesitation
With your light that shines before you
You can cross the sea
Upon this day the first gate is passed
The beginning of the end, yet a gulf remains
