Hands, crawling on the shoreline

Covered in sand.

Tiny crystals of salt water like diamonds in my hair.

I said, "how can I go if this (you) are what I am leaving 
behind?"

Then you said, "take me with you. I'll go anywhere with 
you. Take me, take me anywhere. I'll go, I'll go."

Is this only in my head, because it feels so real.

Why don't we dive into those waves, let them carry us, 
carry us where they go?

Let them wash us both away (so we don't have to say 
goodbye just yet.)
