How I did fall
By mistaking sin for worth
Sight cast downwards
Sees feet heavily laden
With guilt on earth

I stumble onwards aimlessly
Clutching on Truth or is it falsity
But where am I when all is gone
Longing eternal or beneath the man nailed on

Then I think why
Has there always been
Such a wide berth
Betwixt me and God

By my own construction
Yeah self
