alright yall, I finally figured this out thanks to everyone
who has posted something about this song, I went to see Collective Soul
in concert earlier this year, and frontman Ed plays this song in bar
cords, on a sweet ass guitar (uses a different one for almost every
song), anyway, I finally put them together and for those of you not
using bar cords here they are

this is played throughout most of the song, the rest is easy to
figure out as long as you use this progression

Bm(X3)-D(3X)-G(X3, slide up to A on third one)-A(Strum A Only once after
sliding to it)
