I learned this in an open tuning: E A E E B D.

Then Capo the 2nd Fret.

The bass line notes are always thumbed on the downbeat in 4/4 time, and are always a combo of the 5th/4th-5th/4th, 6th/4th-6th/4th strings.

Right hand fingerings are on the bottom (p = thumb, i = index, m = middle); note that the p bass lines and the i & m melody lines never cross strings on each other.

Left hand fingerings are numbered on top. Note the adjacent left hand fingering of 4 and 1 on strings 2 and 3 should be laid down simultaneously. The bass note on the 6th string should be fingered with the 2nd finger of the left hand.
