Over de naam 'Baby Bee' zeggen ze: "When we formed the band we were super infatuated with old blues guys like 'Little Walter' and British Invasion things like 'The Small Faces'. So we always kind of had that as an adjective, and then the bee came out of nowhere. We’re in Louisiana and it’s our state insect so we kind of latched onto that, but really we just liked the way it sounded."
