He left her hanging at the end of her rope  No ultimatum, 
no where to go  It's nothing new it happens everyday  
Love is a gift that we just throw  It's like a never 
ending cycle of selfishness  When will we ever see past 
this darkness  Lord please open our eyes to realize that  
Love can't wait  We've got to see the urgency  And love 
is all it takes  To light the flame in your and me  You 
see her crying on the world news  Would it be different 
if she was you  It's the sad state of humanity  Becoming 
desensitized and hypnotized, tell me  What kind of world 
will we live in if we don't change?  I see the writing on 
the front page LAST DAYS!  We cry open our eyes to 
realize that  Love can't wait  We've got to see the 
urgency  And love is all it takes  To light the flame in 
you and me  It only takes a spark to make a flame that 
burns
around the world  From you to me  From me to them  Lord 
ignite this heart again
