NOTES :
Political activism in the rock world was already at a peak in 1970 when president Richard
Nixon ordered the Ohio National Guard to Kent State University to confront Vietnam War
student protestors. Young wrote this huge hit and poignant anti-war rallying cry after learning
the outcome of the tragic event.
This acoustic version is taken off the Solo Trans video. It uses the "Dropped D" tuning,
though you can play it in the standard tuning. (That's what I always do with this song).
Anyway, I made some corrections in the intro. I tabbed also an alternative intro that
sounds very good on an acoustic guitar. It's just a kind of progression on the normal
intro. For the normal intro, see the verse. In the second and fourth line of the
chorus you can replace the Gm7(II) and C8th just by playing the same chords as the first
and the third line if you think the special chords are too difficult.
