this song is nothing new. I learned it as a Roberta Flack song. but
here it is if you don't know who she is. I play it acousticly with a
friend singing so needless to say it doesn't sound like the Fugees's
version but the chords are the same. If you won't to add to the song
have another person play the second position chords along with
yourself. well here it is.

I heard he sang the good song. Am: x02210
G C B7: 224232
I heard he had a style. C: x32010
Am7 D D: xx0232
And so I came to see him, D7: xx0212
Em Am7: x02010
and listen for a while. Esus4: 02220x
Am7 D7 E: 022100
And there he was a young boy Em: 02200x
a stranger to my eyes.
I felt all flushed with fever
embarrassed by the crowd.
I felt he found my letters
and read each one out loud.
I prayed that he would finish
but he just kept right on.
He sang as if knew me
in all my dark despair.
And then he looked right through me
as if I wasn't there.
And he just kept on singing
sining clear and strong
