I used to wonder what itd be like
To live and work upon the Death Star
Till I grew up inside a vast
Corrupt & evil empire
And now Id like to think Id riot
Or be the leader of a well planned uprising
But I find life heres rather quite
Oh and besides Im not exactly known for stirring up things

Its not like i rally round the emperor
Or participate in his state sponsored events
In fact if absentees a blow to thee
Then man Im really stickin it to the man
Although I practice no religion
I do believe in one all encompassing god
And as far as definitions or descriptions
Well the force is close enough

And I used to say oh I ll stay young and full of piss and vinegar
And I used to say oh I ll stay young and full of beans

But yet some how I got older
Oh and I started caring less and less and less
And I grew up and grew complacent
I hope the rebels would retreat or at least digress
But it appears theyve upd the anti
And it appears they plan on followin thru with their threats
And the rhetoric from both sides
Sticks me some where in the middle of it

If every action has a consequence
Then how come I can not foresee these future events
And I say

I handed over all my freedoms
So I could feel all warm and safe and secure
But I can tell theres something wrong here
