When I look out my window
I see things are going fast
I see my people their faces
are getting blurred by their past
for too many lies and deciept
have stopped our true unity

for when the revolution it comes
we shall create our freedom

I talked to the preacher
he said I must bow before God
the politicians
they believe that we will obey unjust laws
for it is we I say
who hold the power we are a force
to be reckoned with

for when the revolution comes
we shall create our freedom
i say sweet freedom
