I took a trip into the back of my mind-
To see what I might find
A small memory came up at me from inside
About what may have been "meant to be"-
About the past
And making changes inside-
One of the friends I knew was doing simething
kind-
She was lening me a dollar
And I was putting it "behind me" in my mind-
I was offering to "pay it back"-
She said, Never mind, it's okay",
And I said, "Okay"-
Later on
I had a frenzy about the way I should have
"paid it back"-
Every penny that was lent to me-
The culmination of that silly dollar-
And now, from morning to evening, I holler-
I would like to say "thankyou"
Right out loud in front of everyone-
And if I ever borrow a dollar again,
I would "pay it back" (WITH CREDIT)
to Cathie....And everyone said,
"She pays up!"
