Look At You Now is een popnummer dat gaat over het terugkijken op je leven en het waarderen van je groei en veranderingen. Het nummer is de voorloper van het derde soloalbum van Novastar, The Best Is Yet To Come, dat op 16 februari 2024 uitkomt. Je kunt hier de officiële videoclip bekijken
Novastar is het muziekproject van zanger, pianist, gitarist en songwriter Joost Zweegers. Hij begon zijn carrière als bassist van dEUS, maar richtte al snel zijn eigen band op, die eerst Moondog Jr. en later Zita Swoon heette. Met deze band maakte hij een unieke mix van rock, pop, soul en folk. Hij werkte ook samen met andere artiesten, zoals Raymond van het Groenewoud, Sarah Bettens en Ozark Henry. Sinds 2017 maakt hij muziek onder zijn eigen naam. Hij won in 2019 een MIA voor beste muzikant. Hij staat bekend om zijn emotionele stem en zijn melodieuze pianospel.
Het nieuwe album The Best Is Yet To Come is een verzamelalbum dat tien bestaande Novastar-songs in een volstrekt nieuwe kleur bundelt, aangevuld met één nieuw nummer. Het album is opgenomen met topmuzikanten als Mikey Rowe, Skin Tyson, Keith Prior, Andy Britton, Erik Rademakers en uiteraard de heer Zweegers zelf. Het album is een titel die alle toekomstige pistes open houdt én tegelijkertijd verwijst naar het succesvolle traject so far.
