One long and lonely night
On the way to Bethlehem
Mary and Joseph did not know
What lie ahead of them
They must have asked the question,
"Are we worthy of this call?
"To raise the Son of Heaven
"Who'd be Savior to us all?"

But they went
Knowing they were not alone
Yes, they went
Trusting God would lead them home
There was no valley deep enough
To challenge God's consent
So they went

Moses led the Israelites
To the Promised Land
Not by the way of his own might
But by the grace of God's own hand
You know he asked the question,
"Am I worthy of this call?

"Far away from the fall?"

So He went
