Scary World

Ask the devil if he’s ever had enough 
is he ever gonna give it up?
Talk to God but I never heard a word
does it mean that I’m giving up?

Because I’m just trying to make sense 
of this Scary World

If I’ll be on your side
Will you please be on mine 

Had my fill of the sleepless nights 
and the anxious thought were rough 
like if my dad saw who i really was 
Would he still feel the way he does

am I wasting my youth
Scared of my home town.
