Living in a rundown cold one room apartment

With a dirty alley on the window side

T-shirt socks are drying on the lampshade

Pasting bunny's in my scrapbook while I cry



Well I'm just pen existing when I should be living

But this bachelor don't make that kind of money

So I'm a live a loner if I had her address I'd phone her

But my love's wrapped up in a paper bunny 

Working in a cutlery chain store stock department

Just a lonely gofer stock boy day by day 

It's still dark when I get up for work each morning

And the street lights walk me home to hit the hay
