Actually I was wrong - it is "easier" to play in the tuning noted but it means you can't do the slide up you hear on the 5th string in the opening bars.

Nice to see tabs of Bruce's music, including this old favourite. I learned this one many years ago, but always played it in open C tuning (CGCGCE), which my old guitar teacher swears is the tuning Bruce told him he uses. It makes the whole song a lot easier to play although I've been too lazy to retranscribe it.
