Song review: My Chemical Romance - Famous Last Words

'Famous Last Words' is on the 'The Black Parade ' album , released on October 31, 2006.
The song is one of the best tracks on the album, blending multiple musical styles into a cohesive and entertaining mix that ends the album on a great note.

The video for the song was filmed back-to-back with the video for "Welcome To The Black Parade" and they both feature similar sets and the songs contain similar related themes. The set for this song is merely a darkened version of the set from their previous release ("Welcome To The Black Parade"). The band are playing in front of flaming props that are also used in The Black Parade single.

If you listen to the lyrics you realize how deep this song is. The patient basically says that if he lives, he lives. If he dies, he dies. He is not afraid either way. He does want to live though.
In terms of the music, it is very simple. The song isn't difficult to play and is pretty basic and stereotypical of an 80's heavy rock/metal song. Saying that, the lyrics that are incorporated into the song really show off the talent and skill that the band members possess.
