Constant rusted waterfalls
Cascading down the subway walls
Grotesque and somehow beautiful
Like decaying love discolors me and you
Addicted to reading subway scrawl
Like a horoscope I must indulge
Though it mostly makes me laugh
From time to time it wakes a sleeping half
See you there across the platform
Our faces are young our souls are warm
We accidentally lock our eyes
Feels intrusive we know not why
Scale no walls we look away
That's conversation at best these days
Our smiles are packed

Chaotic Zen within the crowds
I can hardly notice when I think this loud
Shoulder to shoulder though we never touch
Sweet caress from the push and shoves
Doors open like a cut run deep
