Album: Static & Silence
Transcribed by: Charles Seymour

Intro and verses (e.g. "it's 4 in the morning...")

D Emin9/B Gmaj7 A13

Choruses ("They're dancing around...")

Bm7 Em7 F#m7 Em7
Bm7 Em7 F#m7 Em7 Gmaj7

Instrumental break between 2nd and final chorus

C-5add9(?) Bm7
C-5add9 Bm7 Bb

Don't know if I have the correct chord names, but here's what I mean:

Emin9/B [x2x032]
Gmaj7 [3x0032]
A13 [x04030]
C-5add9 [x30032]

The idea is to stay anchored on the D form while changing bass notes. I think Gauvin does this often ("Here's Where the Story Ends"), and its a common enough trick for guitarists (Lennon's "Dear Prudence.")
