Tangarine - Ollie and Izzy lyrics

Your rating:

Ollie was a poor eel, living by the bits.
In a small jar build on the bottom of the ditch.
With a big stream of dirty mud around of it.
And it all seem to fade away.

But Izzy was a rich eel, living in the free.
With a big jar build beneath a cherry tree.
And a lot of fish swimming with her in the sea.
And it all seem to be okay!

Ollie saw his life tickin’ away!
While Izzy had it running in delay!

Now Ollie did a wise thing and wise as he could be.
With his bags packed swimming to the big blue sea.
To the land of Izzy and her living in the free.
And he kissed his little jar goodbye.

And in the rivers and the waters Ollie fought himself through.
With a lot of bad moments he had to move into.
With two fins of steel and a point a view.
And it all seem to go alright.

Ollie saw his life tickin’ away!
While Izzy had it running in delay!

And now Izzy took a close watch sawing Ollie come.
With his tired way of moving and his sense of what he’d done.
Far away from his jar on the bottom with the scum.
But it’s all much more than alright.

So Izzy took him by the fin on the bottom of sea.
To her jar build beneath a cherry tree.
With her good looking smile she smiled him into sleep.
And she kissed that poor Ollie goodnight.

Ollie saw his life tickin’ away!
While Izzy had it running in delay!

Now Ollie and Izzy are both living in the free.
With two small eels called little Ollie and Louie.
And a new Jar build for the whole new family.
And they lived happy ever after in the sea.
