About this Album:
I write this review for the people (I hope there aren´t many of you) who either don´t have this album or haven´t even heard of it. Get it now!
"Why?" you say? Well, how about the fact it was a glam record before "Ziggy Stardust", and it´s beautiful. The lyrics aren´t Shakespeare but they really have a feeling about them. It´s like Bolan´s making them up as he goes along. The album contains Get It On which has a classic riff (also a classic riff for Oasis-fans since Noel knicked it for Cigarettes & Alcohol") and we have all kinds of great songs in here like Girl, Planet Queen etc and it´s a great listening experience I wouldn´t want you to be denied.
P.S:You do know that a glam-record is not necessarily a bad record and Electric Warrior is right up there with Bowie, Sparks and Roxy Music...any day. T-Rex was also an influence on Morrissey who actually covered the song Cosmic Dancer from this very album.
