Staind

Staind - Outside Ver 3 guitar chord

Your rating:

This is an awesome acoustic song! Hope this helps. The other tab was
essentially correct, however, it's a lot easier if played this way:

Be sure and drop your guitar down 1/2 step.

Chords you'll need:

Intro/Verses:

     E5 D5 G Asus2
Eb ------- ------- ---3--- -------
Ab ---7--- ---5--- ---2--- -------
Db ---9--- ---7--- ------- ---2---
Gb ---9--- ---7--- ------- ---2---
Bb ------- ------- ---2--- -------
Eb ------- ------- ---2--- -------

Verses:

      E G D Asus2
Eb ------- ---3--- ------- -------
Ab ---2--- ---2--- ------- -------
Db ---2--- ------- ------- ---2---
Gb ---1--- ------- ---2--- ---2---
Bb ------- ---2--- ---3--- -------
Eb ------- ---2--- ---2--- -------

Play the intro twice.

Verse 1:
E5 D5 G Asus2 E5 D5 G-Asus2
When you bring me to my knee, all this time that I can beg you please.
        E5 D5 G-Asus2 E5 D5 G-Asus2
All the times that I've felt so insecure, and I leave my burdens at the door.

Chorus:
              E G
I'm on the outside, I'm looking in
              D Asus2
I can see through you, see your true colors
              E G
Inside you're ugly, you're ugly like me
              D Asus2
I can see through you, see the real you.

Play the intro twice

Verse 2 (same chords as verse 1)

All this time, that I felt that this won't end, was for you.
And I taste, but I could never have, it's from you.
All those times, that I tried, my intention, full of pride.
And I waste, more time than anyone.

Chorus

Play intro twice

Verse 3 (same chords as verse 1 and 2)

All the times, that I've cried, all this wasted, it's inside
and I feel, all the pain, stuffed it down, it's back again.
And I lie, here in bed, all alone, I can't mend
And I feel, tommorow will be OK, but I know

Chorus

End on Asus2

This plays exceptionally well with the recording, just remember to
tune your stick down 1/2 step!!! Play it a few times and you'll get that
little G-Asus2 quick chord change. You can play the G and the A as 5th
chords, but I think it sounds better in open chords. Email me if you have
