Reverend Horton Heat

Reverend Horton Heat - I Cant Surf guitar tab

Your rating:

This is an awesome instrumental! I first heard it off a little
compilatin called MOM: MUSIC FOR OUR MOTHER OCEAN featuring a whole
slew of sweet bands. Anyways, I always wanted to be able to play
this song so I sat down one day (or maybe I was standing...I can't
remember!) and I figured out what I could. So...uhhh...here is what
my little ears and brain deciphered from the recording! ENJOY!

Intro:
(just keep picking the open A until the
drums kick in then play the main rythmn riff 4 times!)
e---------|------------------------------------|
B---------|--2-2-2-2---2-2--2-2-2--------------|
G---------|--2-2-2-2-x-2-2--2-2-2-x------------|
D---------|--2-2-2-2-x-2-2--2-2-2-x------------|
A--0------|--0-0-0-0-x-0-0--0-0-0-x------------|
E---------|----------3b-----------3b-----------|
             "I can't surf!!..."

(main melody PLAY 2X then go back to rythmn part)
e-----------------------------------------------------------|
B-----------------------------------------------------------|
G--------------2-2-1-1----------------------2-2-1-1---------|
D----------2-2---------0-0-3-3-2-2------2-2---------0-0-3~--|
A--0-0-3-3--------------------------0-0---------------------|
E-----------------------------------------------------------|
  "And either can you!!.."
e-----------------------------------------------------------|
B-----------------------------------------------------------|
G--------------2-2-1-1--------------------------------------|
D----------2-2---------0-0-3-3-2-2-----2-2-1-1--------------|
A--0-0-3-3-------------------------3-3---------2-2-----2----|
E--------------------------------------------------3-3---0~-|

I haven't figured out the solo yet, so all I have are the main
sections. It's best if you have a recording of this song to follow
with my uhh...little "interpratation."
