Pacer - The Long Drop lyrics

Your rating:

Feet to the floor, I don't know where to go but I can't
stay here any more. I count the cracks to pass the
time, to make sure your stare don't catch mine. I pace
the room, I count the fixtures, find old wounds and
tear out the sutures. Pack my bags, I turn around. 4
More words and then it's feet to the ground.
I'm getting sick of singing these platitudes, but until
all this is out I think that's all that I can do.
We headed east looking for comfort, welcoming doors
lead to welcoming floors. 2 minutes 30, will you
indulge me ‘cause I nearly lost myself tonight.
A friends floor, once well used, has recently become my
home. I packed my life into boxes and left before my
eyes turned to crosses. Left behind a familiar place,
filled with cold indifferent faces. Filled the van with
the last load, 4 wheels turn to face the road.
I'm getting sick of singing these platitudes, but until
all this is out I think that's all that I can do.
We headed east looking for comfort, welcoming doors
lead to welcoming floors. 2 minutes 30, will you
indulge me ‘cause I nearly lost myself tonight. I
nearly lost myself but now I'm alright.
nd though the situations changed and even though you
both felt the same - Staying here will not be good for
you. Though the situations changed and you thought you
both felt the same - Staying here will probably kill
you. I just wanted us to pull through, it turns out I
can't rely on you.
